I have bought a XXX/presentation grade american walnut stock blank cut before 1917 and stored since. I would like to take the originial stock off one of my 21's and store it so it could be returned to original someday if desired. Then take the new blank and have it made and "B" carved with forearm to match and fitted to the 21. Question, in the western part of the country who do you consider the premier stockmaker for 21s? If someone elsewhere is substantially better I would send to them as well.

Thank you. I am looking forward to the project and will share the results.

The stock work of CSMC is as good as any out there. I have one of thier Model 21's B carved and the work is flawless. I don't have any other suggestions but only note to be sure to get a firm commitment in time from any stockmaker. -Dick
